    What is the basis for the classification?Many important guthu houses are left out like Heroor,Inchlampady.Badoor,Malarabeedu,Ira Bava Beebu, Maravoor
    Beedu,Attavara,Harekalaguthu,Kanthadiguthu,Bijanthadiguthu, Ammunjeguthu, Nadchalguthu, to name a few

    Munnalai guttu situated in sarapady village in bantwala taluk.Dhoomavathi is the main Daiva of guttu. Raktheshwari and parivara daivas are worshiped.

      Many Guttu names are missing which are located exactly in Mangalore like bajpe Guttu Perera Alake Guttu Yekkar Guttu Nadyodi Guttu which are suttated between Polali to Kateel.

    Kapu Poovaniguthu is an ancient guthu house of bunts situated at Uliyaragoli village of Kapu Hobli.Elders born here in this house used put K P as prefix before their name.Late K.P.Ramanna Sherry is one such name who contributed for society at large in different ways.Ammanni Ramanna Sherry memorial Hall is one of the famous land mark and community Hall at Udupi.

    K P Ramanna Shetty ....error in previous comment rectified.Kapu Poovaniguthu,Bavaguthu (B R Shetty) and Kothalaguthu are in close proximity.Believed Daivas and Dieties during "Kola" "Nema"offer first prasadas to of other two guthus representatives is a tradition still continuing.

    Sir how can you miss the PADDAMA BEEDU to which the hiriyadka mahathobara veerabhadra swami temple belongs to, which have such a great history as the dharmasthala has, where the Siri deities are worshiped. Under this beedu vontibettu and many other guttu hoses and 12 more temples are there..

    My Great Grand father was Yejmaan of Talapady Dodda Mane late T Subbayya Marla also the Yejmaan at Panjala Guthu. He was a big Land Lord andA Banker..Why Talapady Dodda Mane is Missing..It's contribution to Rani Abbakka Chowta fight against The Portuguese is still Memorable.
